Motorola's system consists of a central server with the ICC PRO software, field controllers from the IRRInet family, and various end units that operate input and output functions.

Motorola's system consists of a central server with the ICC PRO software, field controllers from the IRRInet family, and various end units that operate input and output functions.
The reliable communications infrastructure for remote management of the IRRInet system can operate using various communication solutions including cellular, private radio communications, telephone and Internet.
The IRRInet system is easy to use, modular and flexible. It is scalable according to changing needs and allows command and control of an unlimited number of remote terminal units (RTUs).

The IRRInet system is delivered to the customer as a complete, integrated solution that includes all the necessary elements, allowing for great flexibility in the deployment of the remote terminal units (RTU). The IRRInet system is equipped with a unique Store & Forward mechanism for transferring information between controllers, which allows for wide area coverage. In addition, the IRRInet system allows for remote diagnostics and software upload/download.

Aqua's IRRInet control system includes the following components:

  • ICC PRO software tool for central irrigation management

  • Wired/wireless two-way communication system

  • IRRInet field controllers

  • Remote Terminal Units (RTU):

    • Piccolo XR - Two-way radio communication system

    • Piccolo RTU - Two-way wired communication system

Motorola's IRRInet system is the ideal solution for command and control of irrigation and fertilization systems, providing accurate, reliable and relevant data simultaneously from multiple remote sites. The system allows:

 

  • Automatic watering and fertilization scheduling via remote control

  • Identifying faulty faucets and water leaks

  • Automatic start and stop of stations, pumps and electrical elements

  • Connection to sensors and measuring equipment

  • Connection to various I/O units for expansion
